To this day the company works hard at continuously developing each of its products so that you can be assured the very best quality and highly economical agricultural solutions. We look forward to innovating your environment...
The products...
First introduced to the market in 2001 EnviroBed™ is a paper based animal bedding made from the waste from paper recycling mills. The innovation came about as a response to the lack of choice and availability of economical and consistently dry dairy bedding needed for high production, healthy dairy cows. 10 years of development and improvement has lead to a market leading dairy cattle bedding which is available all year round at a consistent dry matter of 95%. The process of using a waste product for production of quality cattle bedding allowed EnviroBed to be awarded with a “Queens Award for Enterprise” in the category “Innovation” in 2006.
SlurryBugs™ is another product launched by EnviroSystems in 2003. Comprised of a formulation of freeze dried bacteria and enzymes in powder form which which are to be applied to slurry storage on livestock farms. The bacteria increase organic nitrogen retention in slurry, reduce crusting and smells as well as the environmental impact of significantly reducing greenhouse gass emissions of CO2 and methane.
Optimize™ silage additive has been on the market since 1997 and was introduced by Greenlands Nutrition (the partner company to EnviroSystems- also founded and managed by Liz Russell). Optimize comprises of a formulation of bacillus and enzymes for preserving a variety of silage crops including grass, wholecrop, protein crops and maize.
Heating and waste on silage clamps cost £1000's every year by reducing milk yield from cattle. Therefore improving forage quality and stability leads to increased milk yield, which is essential during these times of escalating feed costs.
Optimize Plus™ is the latest formulation of Optimize with a special enzyme which allows livestock to achieve extra M.E of 1Mj/kg Dry Matter from clamped silage.
